1Who we are

TaxSignal is operated by GAJO Creative Ltd (Company number 16669280), registered office [ADDRESS]. By using TaxSignal you agree to these Terms. Contact us at hello@taxsignal.co.uk.

2What TaxSignal is — and is not

TaxSignal is an informational tax-analysis tool. It reads your accounting data, analyses it against HMRC guidance, and highlights potential savings, cited to the relevant HMRC source.

TaxSignal is not regulated financial, accountancy, legal or tax advice, and we are not a registered agent, accountant, or adviser. TaxSignal does not prepare statutory accounts and does not do bookkeeping. All findings are suggestions for you to review and verify with a qualified professional. You remain responsible for your own tax affairs and for anything submitted to HMRC. Savings figures are estimates and are not guaranteed.

3Eligibility & accounts

You must be 18 or over and use TaxSignal for business purposes. Keep your login details secure and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4Connecting accounting software

When you connect accounting software you grant read-only authorisation. We can't move money or alter your books. You can disconnect at any time. Your software provider's own terms continue to apply to your use of their service.

5Subscriptions, pricing & payment

All prices exclude VAT, which is added at checkout. Monthly plans include 1 month free. Solo and Business annual plans include 3 months free in your first year, then renew at the standard annual rate. Filing a return will cost £49 + VAT per return when that feature is available. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled, and recurring charges are taken via our payment processor. We'll notify you before an annual renewal.

6Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current paid period. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

7White-label / Practice

White-label features unlock on a paid Practice plan or as agreed at your demo. Accountants using Practice are responsible for their own clients, advice, and regulatory obligations. Additional Practice terms may apply.

8Acceptable use

You must not attempt to breach security, reverse-engineer the service, use it unlawfully, upload data you don't have the rights to, or resell the service except under an agreed Practice arrangement.

9Intellectual property

The TaxSignal name, brand, software and content are owned by GAJO Creative Ltd. You keep ownership of your data and grant us the limited licence needed to process it in order to provide the service (as described in our Privacy Policy).

10Your data

Your data is governed by our Privacy Policy and Security page: encrypted, UK-hosted, read-only, never sold, and never used to train AI.

11Availability & changes

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee it. We may change features or these Terms; where changes are material we'll email you and update the date above.

12Liability

TaxSignal is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on the analysis, tax positions adopted without professional verification, indirect or consequential loss, or loss caused by third-party providers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Our total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

13Termination

We may suspend or close accounts for breach of these Terms or non-payment. You may close your account at any time.

14Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
